Simply put, a race owes much of its success to the dedication of its volunteers.

If you are not a runner or choose not to run this race, but still want to have a GREAT time with us on Labor Day, consider volunteering. Here’s a list of volunteer jobs on race day:

  • Last-minute Registration (start line)
  • Parking Coordinator (start line)
  • Water Station Overseer (start line)
  • Hydration Station worker (3 stations along the route)
  • Course Marshals
  • Parking Coordinators (finish line)
  • Finish Line Tabulators
  • Shirt/Goody Bag Distributors (finish line)
  • Cheer Station (finish line route)
  • Shuttle Bus Coordinator (finish line)

All volunteers receive a Sizzler t-shirt and can enjoy the food and festivities at our Post-Race Expo, as well as tremendous gratitude from all the runners for helping make their experience safe and enjoyable.

We welcome individuals or groups of volunteers…. This is a GREAT community service opportunity!

Here's a flyer to share with anyone you think might enjoy participating in this event, both runners and volunteers. Download and print it.... post it in your office, favorite coffee shop, library, or other places where runners will see it. Or gather your friends, co-workers, church group, etc. and register as volunteers on race morning. A great team-building experience.
